Do you write?

If so what is your inspiration? I often times find that simple things like rocks can offer inspiration for poetry. And there is of course quotations and other poems and prose. Although I have to admit that I am not really a writer but I do enjoy playing around everynow and then.

So what do you use for inspiration...

I tend to find words and phrases inspiring. Whethre thay are spoken or read or popo up. Also long walks help me to sort out thoughts and ideas in a random way. Something about the regualr pace gives room for hide and seek ideas to come out into the open.***CV

Anything and everything. Alot of times I cannot identify what's going on inside of me, so I will write a bit of prose or poetry. Then go back and read it, and know just what it was!

Sometimes I start writing about a personal situation, then before the poem has finished I discover that it's about something else entirely. I am not good at sitting down and writing a poem about a speciffic topic. I do far better writing in a "flow of consciousness" style.

Nature is a wonderful sort of inspirations for me. Strong emotions, including pain, are also sometimes a catalyst for creativity.

LOL, I even had a cryptic form of writing for the days when I was a teenager and didn't want my sisters reading my diary. LOL :)
