Well that is all for me this month. I hope you all have enjoyed, or at least come to see something new, these past two weeks. Borges has also written short stories, literary reviews and translations. In fact one of his short story collections, The Aleph and Other Stories, is part of my Summer Reading Challenge :)

Hi Chittavrtti! I was absent for awhile and I am going back through the posts and catching up. I must say I have never read Borges before now. I truly enjoyed the verses you selected. I especially liked "The blind man." I wonder what he was feeling when he wrote some of the poems. I will have to go check out more Borges and read up on his other literary works. Thank you for introducing him to me. I am also glad you included the Spanish version sometimes a feeling or emotion can be lost in translation and it was nice to read both. :)
